I was watching the show Darling in the Franxx and all the talk about "Magma Energy" made me question why we're not currently harnessing thermal energy on a large scale? (That I know of)
I've thought about it and why couldn't we drill a hole deep enough to where the temperatures are 200+ degrees and because heat rises, make a wind tunnel and install a type of wind turbine thus producing energy?
Why can't we harness thermal energy?
