Hello!
I am hoping someone can aid me in providing the nuclear decay equations for:
-Caesium-131
-Palladium-103
-Iodine-125
Thank you very much for your help!
Kindest regards.

Re: HELP for writing nucleur decay equations!!
So, in most instances, you don't need to worry about the products; simply count the proton and mass numbers on both sides and make sure they're identical.
(1) Right side: 236 mass number and 92 protons; left side: 76 mass number and 30 protons; thus: 236-76 mass number and 92-30 proton number are missing.
Since the real product of the equation is 8Be, which decays in an alpha decay, (2) is an alpha decay.
Everything you have to do is consider whether or not there is a beta decay. Edit: To do (2) completely correctly, you must first perform a fusion and then an alpha decay.
