Crime Scene Chemistry

Post by claire_bear30 »

Hello, I'm doing the crime scene chemistry project and I can't find a clear answer on how to dispose of the chemicals. Is there something specific that I need to do or can I just dump the chemicals down the sink. Thanks!

Hello,

This experiment uses phenolphthalein, ethyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide for testing. All of these chemicals can be flushed down the sink and are not hazardous in these small quantities.
