First, identify whether the matter described is a pure substance or mixture. Then, for each statement, list all of the different phases present.
1. Bromine (Br) liquid and its vapor
2. Paint, containing a liquid solution and a dispersed solid pigment
3. Partially molten iron (Fe)
4. Baking powder (NaHCO3) containing sodium hydrogen carbonate and Cream of tartar powder- potassium hydrogen tartrate (KC4H5O6)
5. Sucrose, C12H22O11 (Table Sugar) solution with sugar crystals at the bottom
6. Ink containing a liquid solution with fine particles of carbon (C)
7. A sand containing quartz, SiO2 (silicon dioxide) and calcite, CaCO3 (calcium carbonate)
8. Liquid water and steam at 100°C
