Hi Rashada,

Finding a topic is among the hardest parts of doing a science project, in my opinion. Is there any general topic that you are interested in? The most important thing is that it is something you have passion for.

You can also try the Science Buddies project selection guide https://www.sciencebuddies.org/mentorin ... deas.shtml, which provides many project ideas, ranked by difficulty.

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask, and good luck finding a topic!

Hey Rashada!

Yeah finding a project is very hard. Science buddies has a project guide on this site, [/url]http://www.sciencebuddies.com/mentoring ... deas.shtml.

What are your general interests. There are a wide variety of topics from social sciences to biology. Social science projects are very fun, if you like to examine human behavior and hand out surveys.

Good luck, and reply if you have any questions.

Hi Rashada =]

Projects can be really tricky to find the right one. I had to go through so many topics to find the right one for me. As well as the website the other posts were explaining, there are so many other websites that can help you narrow down your choices and even give you some ideas. Some of them are: http://k12pages.r8esc.k12.in.us/allen/s ... ideas.html
and
http://www.terimore.com/

Maybe those can help as well.
Thank you for writing here, I hope we can help you!!
If you have anymore questions, dont hesitate to write back! :D

The last link you posted is for a website that charges for science fair project ideas. I'm not sure if you noticed that or not, but since there are so many free sites for good projects (including us!), I think it is not a good idea to post links to commerical sites for ideas. Also, you might want to double check the dates of the original posts you are replying too. It looks like you are replying to a bunch of old posts; I know everything is wacky with the forum upgrade, so I just wanted to make sure you were aware these were not new posts.

You don't need to apologize! I just wanted to point these things out in case you hadn't noticed. You can also disagree with everything I said.

I don't think it is necessary to pay for science fair project ideas, which is why I posted a reply to your post- in case a student does read this thread and visit that site.
