Need Help with Influenza Virus Project

Post by evilmonkeysrkool »

Hi, I am doing the BLASTing Flu Viruses project off of this website and I am stuck. I have gathered most of my data that I need, with the exception of how many people got infected with the different types of influenza from the years 2002-2006. If you could tell me any websites I could go to for this information, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

For info on the influenza diease, I would suggest going to http://www.webmd.com. This site tends to have an overview and various other topics on diseases.

As for finding out the years of outbreaks I would try the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, http://www.cdc.gov.

I hope all this helps and if you have any more questions I can fill you in or someone else can help you.

Best of Luck!
