How do you make a 3-D model of a hurricane? Help!!!!! :? :?

    Hi,

    You should try to post your question to the physical sciences forum--they get a lot of questions about models over there.

    However, I think the answer is that you can make a model of a hurricane from many different materials. Does the project have any requirements, e.g. things you can build with and things you cannot build with?

    No, there are no requirements as to what to us or what not to use.

    In that case, the first thing that springs to mind is some sort of wire frame--perhaps made from a clothes hanger--with cotton on it to represent the clouds. It would probably be messy to try to get it to set on the surface of a pan of water, but perhaps you could do something with blue saran-wrap?

    TJN: you can try styrofoam: mold it into the shape that you want. Maybe look it up on a search engine.
