where do I find research

where do I find research for finding out who can complete word searces faste, younger people (20-50) or older people (51-90)

Hi Amy!

I would recommend both looking at what others have found, and also conducting your own research. You can ask your friends/parents to do a timed word search, then have an older group [i.e. grandparents] do the same thing. If you do this remember to have a large group of people to find a good average. But if you want more research I recommend these sites:

These do not specifically discuss word searches, but they do talk about how age affects the brain and reading skills. They would be great to supplement the research you yourself do. You could also try contacting any university libraries in your area to see if someone else has done this experiment already and written up their results. Hope this helps!
