Relationship between variables: linear regression and correlation analysis

Post by zvndjlxx »

I'm struggling a bit with this project because the original project requires me to use baseball information but I don't really understand baseball so it's difficult to use that information. What other information Caan I use to compare the relationship between the variables(linear regression and correlation). My hypothesis is: if two variables are correlated then linear regression can be used to predict the relationship between two variables. Does it make sense?

Hello. This forum is for students working on their science fair project. If your question is part of a project, tell us more about it so we can best help you. Otherwise, there are other forums more appropriate for these types of questions.

Thanks
