Quantum Cryptography

Post by rachelbaker22 »

I would like to do a project about quantum cryptography which can prove that it is a 100% secure and that it is possible to detect any eavesdropper. I started working on the BB84 but I want to do some kind of experiment or amazing project. Is it even possible for me to build the BB84 system for real? I mean, create photons and a data base in order to keep the basis and polarization results...

(I know it is not entirely Math and Computer Science material as it also involves physics but under the view of computer science, is there any interesting project related to quantum cryptography that allows me to prove the security of a quantum protocol?)

Thank you!
