Hello there.

We have deleted your personal email information from the post. For your safety and all others participating, please keep all correspondence to this website.

Tell us a little more about what, exactly, you have questions with. Have you begun the steps outlined in the procedure tab of the project page? If so, how far have you gotten; and where are you having difficulties?

Start by reading through all of the tabs on the project page.
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... -be-hacked

After reading the background and purpose (it's very important to understand why you are conducting an experiment!), read through the procedures. The first part of the procedure is quite simple and doesn't require a computer. Try it and see what you get. Then, move on to the next steps in the procedure, where it gets a little more difficult.

The purpose of a science project is to learn about this amazing universe we live in! Paying someone else to do it will take the fun out of an amazing experience of exploration. Check it out and have fun with it! If you do get stuck and wish to ask questions, no problem! That's what we're here for. But please give us more details on where you're stuck and why. We want to help you succeed in your experiment, but we want you to take a crack at it first.

Good luck!

thank you for your reply but what i really need is someone to teach me this and when i said i was going to pay i didn't mean that i will pay someone to do this for me, i meant i will pay anyone to help me start this project if that's what it will take. I really need to do this project and right now i still don't know how to start, which program to use, which software to use... it's like literally nothing but i still want to do this project.

No need to pay someone. We can help you! However, we want you to take the first steps in trying and coming to us with specific questions. The questions you are asking so far (how to start, what software to use) are all laid out in the project tabs.

Please answer this for us
1. Have you read everything in the Materials and Background tabs? Do you understand the purpose? If not, what specific parts of the page are you unsure about?
2. Have you read the procedures tab? Try doing the first three steps. If you are unsure of a step, what specifically are you unsure about?

You can see that we’re asking you to describe what you’ve done already and emphasizing for you to be very specific in what part of the process you are stuck at.

We commend you for tackling a difficult but fun topic. We can’t begin to help you with broad statements of “tell me what to do.” Help us help you by reading through the project page and providing more details of what you’ve tried so far and what part you are unsure of.

i started with the project ( how easily can your password be hack?) i downloaded python and all the other stuff including the materials such as crack_password.py file, opened it with IDLE and started to run it. My question is do i just follow the codes and that's it? is there something else i'm supposed to do aslo is IDLE the only place i can write my codes in? i prefer visual studio.
