What happens to the light after surpassing universe bounds

Post by rafaello »

Hello,
What happens to the light after it reaches the bounds of the universe? Is there an estimation of how much energy/mass went out of the universe?
Can't all these mass/energy lost explain the acceleration in the expansion of the universe?
