Mint toothpaste

does it really cool or does it only make you feel like it is cooling?

Hi S_Dude_05,

If the toothpaste is cooler then your mouth, then the toothpaste will lower the temperature in your mouth, but only a little bit. But, mint can make your mouth feel quite cold because of how one of the chemical compounds in mint affects parts of the cells in your mouth. That chemical basically tricks in your mind into thinking that it is cold. This article in the Washington Post explains this in more detail:
