Cosmic microwave background radiation

Post by Trevor57 »

Cosmic microwave background radiation originated from shortly after the Big Bang and has been travelling outwards at the speed of light since that time. How is it possible that we are in a position to detect it considering that we too must of originated in the Big Bang?

Hello, The Science Buddies forums are for students in grades K-12 who are doing science projects. If you are a student in grades K-12 please tell us more about your project, including your hypothesis and the experiments you plan to conduct. If you are not a student, there are other places on the internet where your questions and comments would be more appropriate. Thank you.
