Marshmallow and Soda Experiment

Post by dwrye »

We are developing professional learning for teachers and want to conduct a physical vs. chemical change activity. I need to know if combining a marshmallow with coke is a physical or chemical change.

Hi dwrye,

I don't think that marshmallows and coke react at all. Here is a video where someone put marshmallows in coke: https://www.newsflare.com/video/186787/ ... rodstormtv. As you can see, nothing really happened to the marshmallow.

Hope this helps, IlI
