I am doing my science fair project about the candle carousel but I am stuck on how it would be used for real life situations? Please help me.

Hello b2f1ae8315f446cc93ab36292b2255ad,

It sounds like you are referring to the experiment below:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... el#summary.

This experiment analyzes how heat rises, a concept that can be applied to hot air balloons, which rely on the movement of heat up to move the balloon upwards, and a radiator, which releases warm air out the top and draws in cold air from the bottom.

Hope this helps and feel free to reach out with any more questions,
Lili

Hello,
I have some not-important side comments about the uses. This same phenomenon where the air surrounding the flame became hotter and diffuse, which causes that area of air to be less dense and float up. This concept applies to the sky lanterns or simply an opening in your cooking.

Reach out if you have questions, and I hope this helps.
