Hi - looking for some clarification please. In this experiment, are the paper towel squares (soaked in vinegar/salt) supposed to be between every coin (penny, towel, nickel, towel, Penny, towel, etc) or between pairs of pennies and nickels (Penny, towel, nickel, Penny, towel, nickel)? Thank you!

For this project you'll want to include the paper towel squares between pairs of pennies and nickels (penny, towel, nickel, penny, towel, nickel). Figure 1 on the Background page has a diagram that might be helpful.
