How many numbers can you remember?

How many sets of index cards do I need to make for each set of numbers? It does not tell me that in the procedures.

Hello, and welcome to Science Buddies!

I can see the confusion when they say "on the first set of index cards...these cards." I will ask for clarification from the Science Buddies staff. In the meantime, I think you can complete your experiment with the advice below.

After reading through the instructions, it sounds like you are only going to read one set of 2 numbers, one set of 3 numbers, etc to each volunteer. Therefore, I don't think you need more than one index card for each set length. In other words, you only need one index card for the set of 2 numbers, one index card for the set of 3 numbers, etc. You could make multiple cards for each set length to have different number sets to read to each volunteer, but that isn't necessary.

Good luck!
