Need help with hypothesis

I am taking a college course and need help. I need to develop an hypothesis and prediction on what I think protease will affect gelatin. I have no idea how to do this

Do you already have an experiment that you will be following? If so, knowing how you will be running your test will be important in writing your hypothesis.
