Needs help deciding what kind of plants to use for project!

Post by duong_juli8 »

Hello, my science project concerns with plants from the Arabidopsis family. So far, I've decided to use Wisconsin fast plants (I'm going to order them), and radishes. I need another plant, and I'm not sure what to use; I've heard of mustard seeds though. Can someone please recommend a fast growing plant for me? Thank you!

Arabidopsis thaliana (common name: Wall cress) is a fast growing plant.

Mustard seeds are also fast growing.

Do you know if I can buy wall cress at a local plant nursery?

You may be able to buy this plant at a local nursery.

If you have trouble trying to find wall cress, mustard seeds should be fairly easy to buy (and they would fit the criteria of the plants you are using in your project).
