Postby brandy1022 » Sun Jan 07, 2007 6:57 pm

I am having trouble finding articles on this subject that i am doing for my science fair project. Can anyone help me or tell me some websites that could help me do some of my research??

hi!

what do you mean by different types of soil holding different amounts of water? Are you asking about how much water a certain sample of soil could absorb? If you are, I found one site about the soil:

http://www.uwsp.edu/geO/faculty/ritter/ ... nce_1.html

Look under soil moisture storage

hope this helps!

OH! I think I understand what you are asking. Sorry... my brain is a little muddled after all of my studying. Here are some more sites that might be useful:

Hope this helps!

Hi,
This is a major focus of my research, so if you can provide more specific information about your project I can probably give some substantial help.

For starters, you should do web searches for the terms "moisture retention" and "field capacity". Let us know if you have any problems or questions about that.
