I need to raise 4000 pounds 2.50 inches vertically. I need to use a horizontal motion so I would like to use a "wedge". My wedge would be 10.75" long and 2.50" thick (about a 15 degree incline). How do I calculate the required horizontal force?

Hi,

Here are the resources to do the calculation:

I leave the actual calculation to you.
