ISEF

Postby sareena1204 » Sun Aug 14, 2005 12:05 am

Dear Expert,
My name is Sareena, and my goal is to compete at ISEF. As of now, it is a very far-fetched goal, but I strive to reach it through careful planning of my project.
To get an idea of the quality of projects that make ISEF, I wanted to go visit to see. I know that my science fair had strict rules about visiting hours, and I'm sure ISEF takes it more seriously. I was wondering how ISEF really works, and what days are visitng days or what hours are visitng hours. I really really really want to visit ISEF in 2006...I hope I can to gage what ideas are out there.
Thanks!
Sareena

Sareena:

This site will answer most if not all your questions about ISEF.

Any other question - just ask on the board.

Sareena,

You have a great goal and I hope you do well! Also be sure to check out this new section about competing in top science competitions right on the Science Buddies website. Here is the link:

Be sure to read the essay "How to be successful in a top science competition":

You might also take a look at another Science Buddies page:

This page has a table that displays expectations and standards for fairs at different levels.
