Finding a CS topic

Post by CompWizard007 »

Hi everyone,
I plan on participating in the Intel ISEF this year, and I desperately need a CS project. I have looked online and all over the place for an idea, but they're either too hard or doesn't interest me. I went on ScienceBuddies idea generator, but I don't want to use something anyone can find online...to stand out, I need my own idea.
Can anyone please help me with this? Thank you so much.

Hi CompWizard007,

I'm not a computer scientist, so unfortunately I can't give you a specific suggestion. However, if you haven't already, I would recommend perusing the information in the Advanced Project Guide about choosing a topic.

One thing to keep in mind is that you can use something you find online as a starting point, as the seed of an idea that you take and make your own.
All the best,
Terik
