Hypothesis of a Great Flood

I have been hypothesizing on this for a few months and I would like the opinions of others and see if it's flawless or not.

We know that magnetic north is constantly moving
We know that the magnetic north has inverted its polarity several times during the past
We know that the earth's core is the most potent magnet on the planet
We know that water is repelled by magnets

So during the past ten years, the movement of the magnetic north has been almost doubling every four years.
IF this continues and consequently assumes that we are facing a pole shift, besides a weakened magnetic field, could we be facing a global flood, during the period when the core will be reforming its polarity? And if the polarity inverts, could the lands of the southern hemisphere emerge, while the ones of the northern hemisphere are submerged?

Hello Hiru,

The Ask the Expert forums are for students in grades K-12 (and their parents and teachers) who are doing hands-on science projects. The Interview Request forum is also intended for students in grades K-12.

If you are a student in grades K-12 and you are doing a hands-on science project and would like to interview a scientist, please read the following guidelines and revise your request accordingly.

Otherwise, there are other sites on the web where your questions would be more appropriate.

Thank you,
