Hey all,
I have to do a science project, and I was wondering if mint (tic-tacs) affect your memory skills. Please help...it would be greatly appreciated! 143,

Re: Minty Memory
Hi iloveu,
On the face of it this appears to be farely easy to test, give some memory test to people who have taken Tic Tacs and some who haven't.
The problem is false positives. In other words, people who take Tic Tacs would know that they're taking them, and it would affect their performance! One would need a synthetic compund that would fool someone into thinking that it was a Tic Tac, without it being a Tic Tac. Hope this makes sense.
So, in practice, something like minty is hard to test.
Any comments from anyone?
