How quickly do water molecules evaporate, while using a specific heat source, such as a hair dryer?

Hi KS,

I googled 'evaporation' and had many hits. Try googling 'evaporation' or 'molecule evaporation' and you are without a doubt going to find very informative websites.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Hello KS,
You will need to do the experiment using a hair dryer or whatever heat source. You will need 2,000,000 J of heat for the water to change its state of matter into a gas. Just do the experiment at home and see what happens. I recommend you use the gas instead of a hair dryer, for the hair dryer may take you a while. If you are under the age of 13, make sure you have adult guidance. ~expert
Thanks for the question, and I am glad to have helped you.
