Smarter than your average slime

Post by EuniceB »

Please let me know if anyone has done the Smarter than your average slime: Maze-solving by an Amoeboid Organism project. We're ready to create the maze but it asks for a 4 cm x 4 cm maze. So small? Doesn't seem right. Welcome any feedback.

Hello there,

The original paper had used a maze that was 4 cm x 4 cm, so this should be correct. Even though it may seem small, this should be enough space for the organism to move around. If it had worked in this paper, these results should be reproducible!
