How to make the flow of current from a battery unidirectional?

I don't understand this question. By and large, a battery creates a voltage, and again generally speaking, current only flows in the direction of the voltage. The only real exception to this in electronics is instances where there is a non-trivial inductance in the circuit.

Perhaps you can explain a little more what you are asking about.
