My science fair project is testing if fingerprint patterns are inherited. I needed help coming up with a name, but my project is due 12/11, so the sooner the better. I don’t want it too long either, maybe between 2 and 5 words. Thanks!

It's currently 12/12, so I apologize if this can't help you currently.
The most standard way of naming science projects would be "the effect of IV on DV". In your project, testing the effect of inheritance on fingerprints, it would be "the effect of genetic lineage (or heredity) on fingerprints".
If you are looking for a more eye-catching creative name for your school science fair, I would suggest researching some crime movies or mystery movies and play off of some of those ideas – sort of like a pun.
