Hello,

This sounds like a fun project! The quantitative data for this project is the measured Rotations per Minute (RPM) as your increase the number of candles. This is detailed on the Procedure tab in the "Testing Your Candle Carousel" section. You can make the measurements by counting with a stop watch or using a smartphone app.

Because this project has quantitative data, qualitative data is less important. An example of qualitative data might be the experimenter just looking at the carousel and judging if it is spinning "slow", "fast", or "very fast" as the number of candles are varied.

Good luck!
