How Would I Get Started?

Post by mmmtz »

Hello all! I am planning to do my science project based on "Batteries: The Shocking Truth." The area of science is energy and power. The questions are: How does the batteries' voltage change over time? At what voltage does the device stop functioning? Can you do the same test for other devices or types of batteries?

How would I get started on this project? I know I am required to measure the electrical voltage and current, but how would I record my data? :?

Hi - you can use a multimeter to measure the voltage and current of a battery. You will want to watch the video and read the information on our How to Use a Multimeter page: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... multimeter
