Compensating gear for engaging and disengage idler gear to output gear

Post by Complexart »

Hi, I am building a conveyer lift to send cut plywood (4ft x 8ft x 40mm) into a 20-tier conveyor rack. I like my conveyer motor to be on the conveyer lift only. I need the motor to drive the lift conveyer belt and the rack conveyer belt when it stops on that level. Please point me to the right mechanism or gear to use. I prefer fully mechanical than adding more electric pushers. Thank you.

Hi - These forums are designed for students working on school (K-12) science and engineering projects.

We recommend consulting another general online forum or source with your question.
