The Science behind Tsunamis hypothesis

Post by ne1388 »

Hello! So, I used one of science buddies' projects and I was thinking about the hypothesis, and I came wondering what it would be. I'm still not entirely sure what I'm finding out, but I did finish my science fair. I need help finding out what the hypothesis would be for "Study the Effect of Water Depth on Wave Velocity"

(here's a link https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... troduction)

I hope you can reach out soon because my project is due soon

Dear ne1388,

I'm so glad to hear the Science Buddies project was of interest to you. I can't tell you what to investigate, but I can ask you what drew you to this project? What about tsunamis do you want to understand?

A hint can be found in the title of your project: what are you investigating? What do you think will happen?

Best,
Rebekah
