I've been trying to find a page to ask scientific questions to cure my insatiable curiosities and found this webpage that I thought might benefit many people.
I have a daughter of age with this specific group and answers will be shared with that equally curious mind.
Here goes, for my first question: when our planet's orbit of the sun lines up with the direction of the Milky Ways spin, do we experience a change in gravitational pull?
I know we experience an ovacular shaped orbit, so could this be the reason why?
