Hi, I am working on a project testing how clean each type of water is between spring water, cold tap water, hot tap water, and boiled water based on the amount of PPM each water type has. Please help me think of a catchy title! :D

This research sounds really interesting! A good title for this project might include specifics about the technologies you're researching and the overall goal you're investigating (think highest yield, most environmentally friendly, etc.). Here's a couple ideas, hope this helps!

Trolling, Trawling, and Traps: What's the most efficient way to catch fish?
Aquatic Abundance: What's the most efficient way to catch fish?

Like allisontu said, including any specific technologies you're going to do research on is an excellent idea! However, if you're just looking for a more general title, perhaps go with jokes?

"Hook, Line, and Sinker: Commercial Fishing and its Technologies"
"Fish out the Nets! The Technologies of Commercial Fishing"

(These might be too long, however  )

Good luck! This sounds like such an interesting project, and if you have any more questions about naming your project, feel free to ask us!

Hi Jocelyn,

I suggest something like "Charging Change: Effect of Pennies on Electricity from a Battery," or "Penny Power: Creating a Battery from Pennies."

Hope this helped,
Allison

Hi Tasneen,

I'm not quite sure what your project is about, but here's a couple title ideas that could be helpful, depending on your project's focus.

"Sustainable Seawater: Using Osmosis to Make Potable Water from Seawater"
"Potable Power: Making Pure Water and Energy from Seawater"

Hope this helped,
Allison

Hey CookieCroissant (nice username!),

If you're experimenting with teeth staining, perhaps go with titles like "Toothy Troubles" or "Sweet & Sour Stains" (sweet being the soda + coffee, and sour being the lemon juice).

Hope this helped!

Hi Science Buddies,
I am doing an assignment on memory and need a catchy title for my experiment.
The experiment is on the effectiveness of association and visuals in remembering words and their translation in a foreign language. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hey pittai,

That project sounds pretty cool! If you're doing a project about using association and visuals to learn a foreign language, perhaps go with titles such as "Back to Basics: Using Pictures to Learn Words" and "How to Learn a Foreign Language? By Picture Book". Perhaps try and include the foreign language you're going to be testing in your title as well!

Hope this helped,
