I have been searching the internet for these questions, but as you all know the internet is full of irrelevant information.

How does an organism's (i.e. snails) location and health reflect the health of the surrounding habitat and organisms?

Where can I find snails in the Cheasapeake Bay region?

How do ocean tides effect the dispersal of snails?

Wow...those topics were very hard too search. So, I'll try to answer the questions as best I can.

Im not sure how the snail's location and health will show how healthy the environment is. However, if the snail is helathy then that must mean that the environment has moisture and isn't dry.

You can find snails near the shore in the Chespaeaks Bay region. This site tells how snails react to different water depths. http://www.bioone.org/bioone/?request=g ... &page=0489
Snail tend to stay in shallow water and not deep water. That way they have water, so they don't dry out. However, they on't need too much water. That is why I think it is best if you look near the shore.
