Our experiment problem is "How will wing shape and size effect lift and flight?"
Is this a good experiment, and if so, what materials would you suggest to use?

Hi WALDMAN/LAROSA!
In my view, sounds like an excellent idea! You'll need to find variable shapes and materials. Any other thoughts out there?
As for your other questions, please submit "How will wing shape and size effect lift and flight?" to answers.com, and you will get a large number of resources.
Thanks.

Hey!
This sounds like a fun project. Here are some sites:
1.

I never made wings before, so I'm not sure what materaials to use. Here are some materials that I think might be useful:
-wire
-tissue paper
-latex (gloves or balloons)
-straws
-wood
-nylon
I hope this helps!

Hi WALDMAN/LAROSA!
My guess is that stiff (and fllat) materials make the the best wings. Testing different materials could be part of your project, to see quantitatively which material makes the best wing.
