Hello.

Well I am want to teach MS Math and I want to major in Mathematics and minor in Education. I was wondering if i could get a certification to teach MS Math with a major in math. I live in Texas.

It is nice to see your interest in teaching mathematics. You would need a formal education in mathematics and also state-specific licensure requirements. There are undergraduate programs offered by various universities that can prepare you for such a role. Here are some links for programs available in Texas and Online that can give you some idea:

There are a lot of other options and it is always a good idea to consult your school counselor to suggest the option that fits you the best.

I would suggest that you consider doing a double major of Mathematics and Computer Science. There is a need of teachers with this dual expertise. It would also help you get an industry down the line if you decide to change your career path.
