Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I am working on a science fair project, I have access to a biotechnology lab (Luckily i'm in the biotech program at my school so I get full access)
Does anyone know where I can find a kit that will give me the phage Tr4??

It’s great that you have access to a laboratory; it will make getting experiments done a lot easier.

ATCC offers a wide variety of phage for sale, but there are very expensive:

I did a quick internet search and did not find another source for Tr4 phage. Did you try doing a search? Do you need Tr4, or T4 phage? I think most college microbiology departments would have phage available and could provide this to you as a gift. Ask your teacher for a referral if you don’t know who to ask.
