What are the independent+dependent variables in this project

In the project "Measuring your Taste Threshold", what are the independent + dependent variables? I'm having a hard time trying to figure them out!

Interesting project!
I believe the independent variable (the one you change) is the percent sucrose of the solution. The dependent variable is whether you can taste it or not.
