Hello giaana,
You have chosen an important topic, especially since people are judged every day for their appearance (weight, skin color, clothing, their sex, etc.). This should be a fun project. Good job on doing your research now, early in the project. This will help you in determining your hypothesis (aka, educated guess).
Have you decided what project you are going to do?
What is your hypothesis and what will you be testing?
First, I would recommend going to your local library or college library and ask the librarian for how to find scholarly articles, periodicals, and scientific journals in the subjects of psychology, sociology, and human behavior. He/she can show you how to locate different resources within the library (books, journals), or on the web (research journals).
Then, look for online resources (including from your library; you can place holds on articles or journals and pick them up from the library when they arrive).
Here are some resources to help you on finding information and citing resources:

Here is a project that is similar to yours, so can help you get started:

Google Scholar is a great resource for anyone doing research; you can type in keywords specific to your project. For example, I typed in: "human behavior stereotypes" and came up with the following:

Good luck, let us know how your research is going!
