Mr. Green or "Yellow":
I'm a little unclear here..."would like to know the end result of this experiment to compare our with."
Are you asking for sources that describe the same or similar experiments? you might try searching on the internet and in the library with "duckweed UV effects" to find previous experiments.
If you are asking something else, could you help us and describe your question a bit more? Thanks a bunch. Sounds cool!

You can compare your duckweed plants that were exposed to UV light to plants that were not. This way you know how a healthy duckweed plant grows, and you may be able to track side effects of UV light, like change in plant height. Having a plant not exposed to UV light will also tell you that your methods are sound-- if the non-exposed plant dies too quickly, then something other than UV light may be causing the other plants' deaths as well.
Hope this helps!
