Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hello,
I'm doing a project concerning cognitive psychology . The experiment has to be carried out in a lab space . In other words , i need to contact some professors at a near university and explain them the situation . But i'm not very good at explaining myself . I don't want to spoil my project just because of that . What sould i tell them ?
