Hi PoojaBhat,

I found a free review of biological network analysis:

I hope that it helps.

Cheers,
Emily

Can you give me some project ideas which makes use of miRNA ids and their target genes for carcinoma?
It would be better if I can blend Computer science and Biological data.I want to extend the project and attach to the main project,so it must be related.

Hi PoojaBhat,

You have an ambitious and exciting project. As you know, cancer is a multifactorial disease and one miRNA can reduce expression of many genes--not just those directly related to tumor growth, angiogenesis, metastasis, drug resistance, etc.

I don't understand exactly what it is you are trying to do, but here's a good paper in which the authors created dbases for miRNA profiles from healthy vs malignant tissue and attempted to create networks. Maybe you already have seen it, but the references in that paper could give you some ideas about what else needs to be done.

If you have any specific questions, please let us know.

Hello,
Could u please tell me few ideas about what can be done using software languages like php, sql, html, perl in bioinformatics?
