Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I am interested in the project Paul is doing on teeth, but I want to know what the effect flouride would have in addition to different drinks. Any ideas on how to conduct experment?

It sounds like a really interesting project! Basically what you have to do when starting your research is do a quick Google search. I typed in the search bar "Effects of Fluoride on Drinks" and came up with a multitude of hits.

How much chemistry do you know? Have you taken a class in Chemistry yet? It will help in knowing the chemical properties of fuoride and how it reacts with whatever you want to test.

Research is key to being able to develop your experiment! In addition to researching about Fluoride, read up on teeth and the drink you would like to test. I am sure there are many articles published on this.
