Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

We (my partner and I) have a life science project due 4/25/13 (less than a week to complete). I looked up life science on here, but it also included other experiments that weren't life science. We are in the 6th grade and have never been required to do a science fair project in the past and science isn't my best subject. We have no clue where to begin or what to do or are able to do in such a short period of time. I know that we need to hurry and complete this and that there are A LOT of things to do besides the experiment itself. What experiments on life science are good and quick that can be done with a partner?

There you will see a list of the types of life science projects available. I would suggest either Human Biology and Health, https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ginner&p=1

or Mammalian Biology, https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ginner&p=1

These include some interesting but fairly quick studies that you can do with your friends or with pets. Note that there are different levels offered. Beginners Level is the simplest.

You should also take a look at the information about how to do a science project correctly--choosing a hypothesis, setting up an experiment, collecting data, etc. Since this is your first time doing a science project, I would say that you really should read and understand the project guide BEFORE you start your project.
