I'm researching how different types of honey can be used as an antibiotic against bacteria, problem is i'm experimenting on 5 different honeys and i would have to purchase each individually, which would cost about 100 us dollars.

Is it likely that i would get a sample of honey if i contacted the supplier and stated my intentions? I don't need much at all.

I was hoping to get:

manuka honey +16

buckwheat honey

greek pine honey

any advice is welcome!

Hi Hutchdan,

I like your project and I am pretty certain that at least some of the honey companies would be willing to sell or even give you a small sample of their honey if you called them and explained who you were and why you needed it.

You could email them, but i think calling them personally and talking to a real human would be more successful.

Best wishes,
