Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Does anyone know of any sites where I can purchase vitamin testing strips? like strips you put in a solution and it will tell you the vitamin content of it for a certain vitamin. here is an example of one i found for vitamin c: http://www.amazon.com/Indicator-Detect- ... B0089PLYJE

I don't know of a source for 'strips' to detect the B vitamins or vitamins D, E, K, etc. The methods i am familiar with to detect and measure vitamin concentrations all utilize chromatography and spectroscopy requiring instruments found in a university lab.

My suggestion would be to call companies such as the one that makes the vit C detection strips and ask them if they also make test strips for other vitamins. Companies are very good sources of practical information and most are happy to help young science students with projects.
