Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hello ,
I have chosen to perform a coagulation project from this site for my assignment at college but one of my requirements for the assignment is to have at least 10 references and results for my chosen project. I have searched everywhere I could to find any references to help me but so far i have been unsuccessful , could someone please help me or at least point me down the right path? I'll be very grateful!

Some of the materials in that experiment are familiar as ingredients in commercial bandages. I would find products designed to stop bleeding and then check the manufactures data. Just about every medical device has a series of studies that surround it, and they would involve those chemicals. Also check some medical journals that deal with trauma, or military/combat medicine. To get you started search for blood stopping bandage, or hemostatic dressing.
